Rent the Rock

On the reservation calendar, it will show your appointment as 8.5 hours because it starts at 3:30PM, but your reservation is for 24 hours. i.e. If you book for Monday at 3:45, you can paint the rock Monday afternoon/evening and it will be visible to the school for the entire next day.

*100% of the proceeds goes directly to Sawnee Elementary towards teacher grants, school improvements and PTO events.
What supplies do I need?

You will typically need two to three cans of spray paint for the base coat, additional paint for your design, and one can of clear coat to seal in your design. For more intricate designs- craft paint, foam brushes and even stencils work great. PTO DOES NOT SUPPLY THE PAINT OR SUPPLIES NEEDED. All painting supplies are the renter's responsibility. You may not use decorations with adhesives on the rock.

Reservations:
You must be a Sawnee family member or staff member to reserve the rock. To make a reservation please choose from one of the available dates listed on the calendar. This is a first come, first served basis for available reservation dates.

What can I reserve the rock for?

You can reserve the rocks for anything!! A student’s birthday, to thank a teacher or staff member, congratulatory events, good luck in competitions and tournaments, recognizing milestones...the rock is a fun way to spread any kind of positive message. Please note that profanity and political messages are not permitted.
